Recurring Billing & Subscription Disclosure

This page explains how the vCard subscription works, how recurring billing is authorized, how cancellation works, and what happens to your account and stored data after cancellation.

Important: By subscribing to the vCard service, you authorize a recurring subscription charge through PayPal until you cancel. Please read these disclosures carefully before continuing.

1. Subscription Type

The vCard service is offered as a paid recurring subscription unless expressly stated otherwise. Your subscription provides access to your account tools and, where applicable, your public hosted profile, QR code, downloadable vCard, and related hosted features during the active paid term.

2. Recurring Billing Authorization

By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges through PayPal for the plan and billing interval shown at signup or checkout. You authorize PayPal to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Your subscription authorization is part of your agreement to use the service and is recorded as part of your account setup and legal acceptance flow.

3. Billing Frequency and Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal. The billing interval, such as monthly, will be disclosed during signup or checkout.

Unless otherwise stated, each successful renewal extends your paid access for the next billing period.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through any account cancellation tools we make available and, where applicable, through your PayPal automatic payment settings. Cancellation stops future recurring renewal charges but does not usually reverse charges already paid for the current billing period.

Once cancelled, your subscription will remain in a cancelled / non-renewing state and will not renew again unless you subscribe again.

Cancellation Summary

Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your existing paid term remains active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

5. Access After Cancellation

If you cancel, your account typically remains active until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for. During that remaining paid period, you may continue to have access to the service features allowed for your subscription state.

After that date, your subscription access may end automatically.

6. Account Deletion After Cancellation

After your paid period ends following cancellation, your account may be scheduled for permanent deletion. This deletion may occur automatically based on the service workflow in effect at that time.

Once the deletion date is reached, your account may no longer be recoverable.

7. Deletion Scope

When an account is permanently deleted after cancellation, the deletion may include:

  • Your account record
  • Your hosted public profile
  • Your QR code image or file
  • Your downloadable vCard file
  • Your stored profile photo
  • Your editable profile data and related hosted content

Some limited records may still be retained where needed for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.

8. Failed Payments / Past Due

If a renewal payment fails, your account may move into an inactive, past-due, suspended, or similar status. Access to features or public visibility may be restricted or removed if billing is not successfully resolved.

We reserve the right to disable access, pause hosting, or remove public availability where payment is not completed.

9. Price Changes

We may change pricing for future billing periods by providing notice where required. Any price change applies prospectively and not retroactively.

Continued use of the service after the effective date of a disclosed price change may be treated as acceptance of the updated pricing, to the extent allowed by law and platform rules.

10. No Guarantee of Device Compatibility

We do not guarantee that every device, browser, operating system, email application, contact manager, or future software version will properly import, display, interpret, or retain your vCard data, QR code, profile links, or hosted content.

Device manufacturers, app developers, and software updates may affect compatibility at any time.

11. Service Interruptions

The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, hosting issues, email-delivery delays, technical problems, security work, or third-party interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the service, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
